Water Production
The production of Lastochka has come a long way — from a pre-revolutionary well and a small cooperative in the 1930s to a full-scale plant: a modern, fully integrated facility employing more than 100 people.
The Plant
The plant was built in the village of Lastochka, after which it is named. Water is transported from the source to the plant through a two-kilometre mineral water pipeline from the well.
In the water treatment facility, the water passes through a system of sand and sorption filters, removing natural impurities and excess iron.
The water then moves to the bottling line. At the same time, the bottles are prepared: PET bottles are blow-moulded from plastic preforms in a special oven.

Bottling
The water is bottled on an automated line without contact with the outside air. The caps are also applied automatically.
Labels are applied to the sealed bottles using heat-shrink technology, which involves local heating.
The finished bottles are transported by conveyor to the final packaging stage, where they are packed in groups of 2, 6, 9 or 12.

Quality Control
The plant's own accredited chemical laboratory monitors water quality at every stage of production, from the well to the finished-goods warehouse.
Testing centres accredited by Rospotrebnadzor regularly carry out independent water quality checks.
